Challenge
A major Norwegian client approached us with a strategically important request: to act as their external innovation department.
At the time, they were involved in a complex legal dispute and wanted to ensure that every angle had been examined – including the blind spots they sensed but couldn’t yet define.
They were looking for a fresh and critical perspective to test assumptions and uncover new insight.
Approach
Together with the client team, we set out on an explorative journey where neither the destination nor the exact questions were fully known – only that something important was waiting to be discovered. This kind of open-ended search calls for both trust and curiosity, and it has long been central to how we work.
Grounded in science and deep technical expertise, we worked closely with the client to explore key areas of the subsurface. Each round findings led to new insights, which shaped the next steps.
